INTERNATIONAL FRAUD DETECTION BUREAU (IFDB)

COMPLIANCE, ETHICS, INVESTIGATIVE SUPPORT & PUBLIC PROTECTION FRAMEWORK


ARTICLE I — ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSE


The International Fraud Detection Bureau ("IFDB") contributes to the  United States Government  with fraud prevention, intelligence, victim assistance, and investigative support organization dedicated to combating financial fraud, cyber-enabled fraud, identity theft, investment scams, business fraud, organized criminal financial schemes, and related offenses affecting individuals and institutions worldwide.

IFDB exists to:


  • Promote fraud awareness and prevention.
  • Assist victims in documenting fraud incidents.
  • Facilitate fraud intelligence collection and analysis.
  • Support lawful investigations through analytical and administrative assistance.
  • Cooperate with authorized regulatory, financial, and law enforcement entities.
  • Identify emerging fraud threats and criminal methodologies.
  • Promote public trust, financial transparency, and consumer protection.


The protection of victims, preservation of evidence, and advancement of public safety remain central to all organizational activities.


ARTICLE II — LIMITATIONS OF AUTHORITY


IFDB is not a law enforcement agency, court, prosecutor's office, financial regulator, or governmental authority.

Nothing contained within this website shall be interpreted as granting IFDB authority to:


  • Make arrests.
  • Execute warrants.
  • Freeze assets.
  • Recover funds without lawful authorization.
  • Issue subpoenas.
  • Conduct criminal prosecutions.
  • Render legal judgments.
  • Compel testimony.

IFDB recognizes that fraud victims often provide highly sensitive information.

Protected information may include:

ARTICLE XI — LIABILITY LIMITATIONS


To the fullest extent permitted by law:

IFDB shall not be liable for:

ARTICLE XIV — INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

IFDB may cooperate with:

Every IFDB employee, analyst, investigator, contractor, and affiliate shall adhere to the principles of:

The International Fraud Detection Bureau exists to protect individuals, support victims, advance fraud prevention, encourage lawful accountability, and contribute to the global fight against financial crime through ethical, professional, and transparent practices.

The protection of the public shall remain the highest organizational priority.
